The Annual Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Hills High School on 19th and 20th January. The school’s playground was overflowing with zeal, passion and excitement. The program began with the escorting of the chief guests, the district education officer of Surat Sri Bhagirath Singh and a young kickboxer Dinkal Gorkha and a very young chess player Vivaan Shah. The students of Hills High School displayed a wide array of energetic spots events - ranging from Band Display, March Past Track Events. Drill, Karate, Formation etc. The audience was mesmerised with the energetic performances. The proud parents could be seen filled with happiness to see their child performing.

In the U-14 Boys category, the school Basketball team won 4 matches. Among the 28 teams that played the school team secured 3rd position. The participants were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 1000 each.

The 75th Republic Day celebrations took place with patriotic fervor and zest in school. The Chief Guest, Principal and the Management unfurled the National Flag followed by singing the national anthem. Variety of Cultural programmes was presented by the students of different grades. Students dressed up as freedom fighters performed a skit. The school staff and the students actively participated to make the Republic Day celebration a memorable one.

Mountain climbing is an expedition that brings you closer to nature and helps you remain in contact with it. A person who decides to do mountain climbing has already overcome his fear. With this determination two students Mo. Umar Patel & Zara Patel of Hills' High School went for trekking to The hills of Kilimanjaro. It was a risky journey travelling the slopes covered with ice and snow, but the little climbers with their strength, balance courage and determination conquered the difficult terrain and made it possible.
