With the commencement of the new academic session, the Investiture Ceremony was organized on 20th April 2022 with great pomp and dignity. A sprit of unity filled in the air, as the ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp followed by a soulful prayer. Amongst us we had an eminent personality Mr. Darshan Desai (founder of "Prayas). We had our previous year Head girl to share her experience and guide our newly elected members of the Council. The newly appointed Council under the leadership of the Head boy and Head Girl took the oath to abide by their duties and hold the name and honor of the School in high esteem. The management along the Chief guest felicitated the Students with sash and a badge. The Head boy, Head girl, Sports Captain and all the House Captains stood tall holding the Flag of Hills' High School and promised to bring many more laurels to the Institution. It was, a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being bestowed with great responsibilities and starting on a new journey as Leaders.
View All imagesThe "World Book Day" aims to promote reading and to encourage young people to discover the pleasure of reading, developing a life -long habit of reading and benefitting from it. Books help us share ideas, obtain information and develop admiration for different cultures. To mark the day, students shared their experience of reading, a story telling session was held with the younger children, a book fair was arranged in the school by the students and many other activities were conducted. A joyful learning day for our children.

The teachers conducted several activities to sensitize students towards environment protection and conservation. Our young children designed beautiful posters, models and spoke eloquently about paving the way for a cleaner and greener environment.

discussed on raising awareness about the heritage monuments and sites. students designed beautiful models and displayed in the classrooms. It was fun filled day with numerous activities throughout the school.
Save Soil is a global movement, to address the fertile soil crisis by bringing together people from around the world to stand up for soil health. To raise awareness among our students a workshop was organized in the school campus by "ISHA FOUNDATION". The students were made aware that 52% of agricultural soil has already degraded. To save the future generation from this crisis Isha Foundation has taken a step to write 10 million letters to the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji to help save the future of India. The students of Hills' High School wholeheartedly participated, wrote letters and expressed their concern through art work. It was an eye opener for all.
View All imagesThe start of the year for our noon shift students was overwhelming. we could see the feelings of joy and excitement among the children. All the safety protocols were kept in mind for the safety of our students. The readiness and enthusiasm of students and teachers could be seen with the smile on their faces. Different activities were conducted throughout the day, followed by a tour of the school and make each child aware of the new surrounding. We wish on developing an uninterrupted routine of in-school attendance.

Makar Sankranti OR Uttarayan is a festival that heralds a change of season marking the movement of the Sun into the Northern Hemisphere, a celebration to mark the end of winter. The Sky is blue and clear and a cool breeze blows and a feeling of joy & jubilation grips around us.
In Gujarat, Makar Sankranti is celebrated as the kite-flying day. It is a day when people of all ages fly kites rejoicing. The sky is enlivened by kites of different colours and hues. We can see crowded rooftops, fun loving rivalry to out do each other and delicious Gujarati feast are the hallmark of the day.
Beautifully decorated kites were designed by our students with small quotes. The joy and jubilation shown by our students during the online class was really appreciable. The students were also made aware about the safety precautions to be taken during kite flying.
