In order to celebrate the birthday of Lord Krishna, Matki Phod event was organized in the school premises. Beautiful decoration added colour to the event students dressed up as Radha and Krishna. They looked adorable in traditional costumes. The students participated in the event with enthusiasm and joy.

Not only the girls tied rakhis to the boys but also tied the sacred thread to the green brothers and showed their love and care to the mother nature. With this thought in mind Hills High School celebrated Navroz (Parsi New Year) with great zeal. There was a spirit of festivity in the school premises. Students decorated the soft boards with pictures, write up, beautiful rangoli, decorative torans were put up. Age appropriate videos were shown to the students of standard 1 to 12. The videos enlightened our students about the richness of the Parsi culture. We wish that this new your brings joy and happiness to each and every one of us.

Today as we turn around and flashback our journey of 75 years, we stand with our head held high and hold a shared equanimity among all. Our honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav to commemorate 75 years of Independence and honour the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements.
The students performed a beautiful patriotic dance, skit, yoga display, band display followed by March Past. The Management and the Principal delivered a speech on the occasion. Under the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' initiative we also celebrated ' Har Ghar Tiranga'. The students of the Secondary and Higher Secondary hoisted the flag from 11 August to 15 August, they were also briefed about the amendments of the flag. It was a day filled with patriotism and let us weave a better future with high hopes, growth & positivity.
International Malala Day is celebrated every year on July 12 on the occasion of young activist Malala Yousafzai’s birthday. This date was designated by the United Nations (UN) to honour the young woman who has been advocating for female education. At age 17, Malala was the youngest recipient ever of the Nobel Peace Prize. The day also honors the rights of children and women. To spread awareness among our students, different activities were conducted in the classes and the students participated enthusiastically.

Team Radio Mirchi visited Hills High School campus on Wednesday, 3 August 2022 The students were made aware about the importance of tree plantation and how each one can become an environment conscious citizen of India. Hills High School left no stone unturned to bring a positive change through th students to ensure a greener society. Mass tree plantation drive was undertaken to set a new benchmark and make the city of Surat rich in flora and fauna. Many environment friendly messages were intimated to the students to spread in and around the society. The ceremony was grand success with planting and distributing of 1000 trees among our stakeholders.

Hills' High School organized International Yoga Day in the school premises as well as in the vicinity of the school. To commemorate the event the students were taken to an iconic location 'Anuvrat Dwar' where in they performed yoga, presented a Nukkad Natak to spread awareness about the benefits of yoga.
This year the theme for International Yoga Day is 'Yoga for humanity' as announced by our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The school organized a week long program and the students performed yoga in the nearby societies. This initiative by the school was appreciated by all and the teachers and students participated enthusiastically in the program.
To every child her father is the hero of their life, On father‘s day our students took an opportunity to show their fathers how much they mean to them and thank them for the role he is playing in shaping their life. Our students made beautiful cards, wrote lovely poems and prepared small gifts for their fathers. It was a moment to cherish forever.
