BLENDED HOME LEARNING PROGRAMME
The wide ranging impact of COVID – 19 pandemic has changed many things, including the way we do school education. We have been forced to shift focus from ‘Schooling only at Schools’ to School – ‘Home Collaboration for learning’ From time to time CBSE has been guiding the school principals to organize remote learning classes effectively and to enhance digital skills among its students. Hills’ High School has been complying with all these guidelines and circulars of the competent authorities since the implementation of lockdown.
CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
With the unprecedented crisis due to the spread of covid19, learning has been impacted in multiple ways. However it has also provided an opportunity for leveraging technology to ensure continuity of learning and development of our students. It is heartening to note that the students have welcomed the blended learning system and are benefitting from the online classes. This initiative has ensured that students are kept engaged and informed. The students eagerly wait for their teachers every morning.
CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY VIDEOS FOR HOLISTIC WELL BEING OF CHILDREN:
School has also uploaded videos of variety of Co-curricular activities developed by our instructors. The overall objective of these activities to relieve children from stress and anxieties caused due to lock down. These activities are optional. Your child can choose the activity which she/he likes and practice at home. It is advised by all well known educators, counselors and Health and Fitness experts that as parents, we must take care of their emotional well being along with intellectual and physical growth. It is heartening to note that students have welcomed our blended learning system and are benefiting from these classes from within the confines of their homes.
RESULT OF SURVEY
School conducted an online Parent Satisfactory Survey on our blended learning programme. The result of the survey is highly motivating. There is a huge appreciation from majority of our parents on all our efforts to make learning a joyful experience for all our children.
