To update ourselves with the latest developments in the field of Education, our teachers are sent for regular Teacher Development Programs organized by CBSE and other educational agencies at regional and national levels. Weekly meetings and discussions with the management, Principal sir, faculty heads as well as section supervisors are conducted every Saturday. The discussions focus on the experiences of the past week, improvisations where necessary and also adequate time is devoted to planning and preparation for the upcoming week.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made it mandatory for all affiliated schools to appoint special educators (SEs) to promote inclusive education by assimilating children with learning disabilities with other students. To comply with the CBSE guidelines Hills High School appointed Special Educator cum Counselor on a full time basis. Special guidance is given to all teachers by the counselor for the special students.
At Hills High School, we do not believe in external Tuitions. Private tuitions by teachers or students are strictly restricted. For weak, slow and differently abled students, the school provides compulsory tutorials and remedial classes called ‘Rainbow Classes” by our teachers during the school hours by allotting a Zero Period as well as after school hours, at no additional cost. At the same time enrichment classes for the above average students are also taken.
